As an undergraduate, I attended St. FX University, where I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with honors. From there, I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dalhousie University in 2017.
Experience
I have been tutoring chemistry students throughout my entire academic career. I began tutoring in high school. I helped students in chemistry 11 and 12 and eventually began running tutoring sessions for first-year general chemistry and 2nd-year organic chemistry students at St. FX University. While attending Dalhousie University, I worked as a teacher's assistant for 2nd through 4th-year chemistry. I have also been a private tutor for those subjects at the same time. When it comes to chemistry, I can break tough concepts down into easier-to-understand steps that make sense to you. I can teach concepts in multiple ways until we find the best method for you. I can help with coursework in addition to test prep.
